One-man-band or big business? Let Payroll Services pay the piper!

If you’re setting up a new business, large or small, you may want to think carefully about outsourcing your payroll services department.  If you’re a one-man-band, a small or large concern, you should consider a fully managed payroll service or a simple bureau solution.  Either way it will free up time for you to concentrate on the important things in your business, such as self-promotion and development.

The areas that any payroll services company will cover are VAT returns, general Bookkeeping, Wage paying, preparing management accounts, Budgeting, cash flow, Accounting systems, reviewing financial mattes and general development of procedures manuals.  A Payroll Services company will be happy to tailor its services to your firm.  They will be able to pay your wages and bills weekly, bi-weekly or monthly as requested and all at a fixed rate cost to you – no surprises.

But what will the Payroll Services cost?  Basically most companies charge a fixed amount for the number of employees a company has.  Some providers like to charge a set up fee, then a flat fee for each pay cycle.  They may also wish for you to cover the postage costs.

It will be great to find you will no longer spend loads of time writing cheques, sorting bank balances and handing out payslips. You will no longer need the help of an Accounts Clerk and you’ll be free to concentrate on the job at hand – i.e. your business!  Let’s face it small business equals big responsibility, so cross at least one job off your list!
